Steve is the founder and leader of XScalable and had the vision to create core web based
products that XScalable could then use to create more complex
solutions. Steve has the creativity to create and market products
of all levels of functionality and target each product to the appropriate
consumers.
Steve has been involved in the development of many shrink-wrap and web based
projects and products. For each product, teams under his leadership would use
the best possible tools at the time to deliver the functionality on time.
However, regardless of the tools and frameworks used there was always an
enormous amount of effort that went into building the core functionality of the
product and was reused throughout many areas of the products.
This functionality was built from scratch or as an extension of the tools or frameworks used.
Each time the, software was built at the expense of the product or project. There must
be a way to improve upon this normal developmnet pattern.

Steve has spent many years architecting solutions on both the software and hardware side.
Customer driven, feature rich, scalable solutions have been the goal all throughout his career.
Steve was Director of Engineering/Development at
Respond Networks,
developer of
Respond.com, a co-branded online RFQ service
targeting the Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (SMEs).
Prior to Respond.com, Steve was Chief Engineer at
SM&A
which at the time developed over 20 different products for 7 vertical markets. Before SM&A, Steve was senior software
developer for
Stanford Telecom
(now
ITT Industries) and E-Systems (now
Raytheon)
